Dallas Martin is an attorney with over thirty-five years of legal and business experience. Dallas' legal career has followed two paths: in-house general counsel work and intellectual property management. He has served as general counsel and created intellectual property management programs for organizations ranging from high-tech startups to large, publicly-traded companies.  He has a successful track record in senior business leadership roles helping early stage companies achieve stability and aggressive growth.

 

Dallas is a seasoned advisor in general corporate legal matters including company formation and governance, contract drafting, dispute resolution, software/SaaS licensing, complex business arrangements, intellectual property creation, protection, management and enforcement, company policies and procedures, and human resources/hiring practices. Dallas has extensive experience in the legal and contract issues involved in the computer hardware and software, financial services, telecommunications, e-commerce, energy and power generation, and contract R&D industries.

Also, intellectual property programs he created and managed have generated over 5,000 patents and over $200 million in deal value. For his pioneering work in the IP field, Mr. Martin was selected for inclusion in Intellectual Asset Management Magazine’s “IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists.”
